Dividend Payout Approved by General Meeting of VÚB
Bratislava, March 23, 2018 – The General meeting of VÚB, a.s. decided today that the dividend to be paid to shareholders from the 2017 profit will be EUR 11.10 per share with the nominal value of EUR 33.20. The decisive date for determination of persons entitled to dividends will be April 20, 2018. The payout of dividends to persons entitled to dividends will start on May 11, 2018 upon the exercise of their right to dividend in accordance with the manner approved by the resolution of the general meeting of VÚB. The General meeting of VÚB, a. s. elected a new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of VÚB, Mr. Ignacio Jaquotot, replacing Mr. Ezio Salvai, who resigned from the position of the Member and the Chairman of the Supervisory board of VÚB and furthermore elected a new Member and the Vice-Chairwoman of the Supervisory board of VÚB, Ms. Elena Kohútiková, replacing Mr. Ezio Salvai as the Member of the Supervisory Board and Mr. Ignacio Jaquotot as a Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
The general meeting of VÚB, a. s. approved the 2017 Annual Report, 2017 Separate financial statements and 2017 Consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards as adopted by the European Union, as well as the amendment of the Articles of Associations as presented by the Management board of VÚB. The general meeting parallelly approved company KPMG Slovensko spol. s r.o. as the external auditor of the Bank for 2018.
Furthermore, The General meeting of VÚB, a. s. decided on distribution of 2017 profit amounting to EUR 160,021,242.39, of which approximately 90% was allocated to dividends to shareholders and approximately 10% to the retained earnings from the previous periods according to the proposal of the Management board of VÚB, a. s.
